Our name “Linking Individuals for Nature Conservation” reflects a central value of our organization — to mobilize individuals to care, learn and take action to save the environment. We believe that people can make simple changes in their daily lives that can create big waves of changes to solve environmental problems and foster a community of respect for the natural world.
We welcome your interest in our work!
Asia Region: Since we are based in Hong Kong, with a focus in Asia, we have a special ear for individuals, community groups, businesses and others in the region who would like to partner with us to help solve a marine problem in your area, for collaborative advocacy, and environmental solidarity.
Businesses: We enjoy working with businesses that would like to clean-up a site to help improve environmental and economic sustainability. “Doing good” is not just something a nonprofit can do, and without the leadership of environmentally-responsible businesses, a lot of these environmental problems will continue. The environment must be factored into the economic equation, and businesses can often provide the most tangible examples of how that can be done successfully. LINC is a big supporter of new sustainable technologies and particularly look forward to hearing from companies that have great environmental solutions.
Boracay: What we are doing in Boracay is pretty special, and we think it would be a great project for ethical corporations interested in supporting environmental work.
Have a question, comment, an idea, want to donate money, begin a partnership, get help starting your own community clean-up, a new technology to talk about? Let us know!
